There are several species of roaches in our area but the most common problem is the German roach. They often are found in kitchens and are numerous. They can reproduce quickly which makes them a problem and a health hazard.
There are several different types of ants but the most common are carpenter ants (big black ants) and pavement ants (sugar ants). Carpenter ants are wood destroyers and are conducive to water damaged areas. Pavement ants are small and will often swarm to food.
These pesky little creatures are becoming an epidemic. They feed on human blood and can store the blood for up to a year.
Fleas need a host, often times a dog or cat. They can bite humans but don't prefer them. Once they have a host, they reproduce at an alarming rate.
Mice are very abundant in our area. They are a heath hazard and reproduce very quickly.
There are many different types of bees and wasps, but the most common problems are yellow jackets and balled faced hornets. While yellow jckets can make nests on houses, they are considered ground nesters. They often build their nests in small holes on houses. Balled face hornets build their nests in trees or on houses and can get really big.
